Perfect Pie is the story of two estranged women; childhood friends who were separated in their teens and have not seen or heard from each other in thirty years. In the space of an afternoon, the women become reacquainted as they share their lives with each other; at times detailing how they ended up where they are, other times reliving childhood memories and secrets, and finally digging up the tragic experience that drove them apart. Kingston’s own Judith Thompson has created incredibly real characters whose life experiences can be parallelled with our own. A touching tale, a chilling secret and an enthralling play.
